Serious Eats posted a recipe from Joy the Baker for Chocolate Avocado Cake with Avocado Buttercream. It’s a very unusual use for avocados but I’m totally intrigued. You probably have a couple of extra avocados laying around this weekend for the Super Bowl – why not try making something sweet out of them?
I’ll be baking some cake later today for this week’s Kitchen Adventure, and while I’m excited to see how it turns out with a new ingredient, I sort of wish I could make this instead!
