As promised, here is the best thing I made with my roasted blueberry lavender syrup. If you missed the post, I took roasted blueberries and pureed them with lavender simple syrup to make a delicious syrup. While it’s great on pancakes or ice cream, I mixed it with gin for an amazing drink that you need to try before blueberry season is over.
This Blueberry Lavender Gin Fizz is really simple – all you have to do is mix the syrup with gin and club soda for a bubbly, refreshing cocktail. Blueberry and lavender go really well with gin, which has a floral flavor. I’m kind of partial, since gin is one of my favorite liquors, but this cocktail really is something special. My birthday is in a couple of days and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to enjoy a couple of these drinks. Cheers!
