Whatever you celebrate, I hope you have a happy Valentine’s Day/Lunar New Year/Sunday! I will be hanging low, eating some of the treats I received (pictured above is part of my bounty; one of the benefits of being a teacher), watching a movie and having dinner with my mom. Russ and I celebrated Valentine’s last week (he has to work tonight) by skipping the Super bowl and instead going out to a nice dinner and seeing the last performance ever (for now) of Rent in Sacramento.
More than ever, Valentine’s seems like just another day of the week to me, but it’s always nice to get extra love from the special people in your life. It certainly doesn’t have to be only from a significant other – my favorite valentine came from a 2 year old!
